For this photo, we were asked to photograph something exciting or inspiring about our future. As I will be going to college next year, it felt like an obvious choice. Although it’s a bit simple, taking a photo of my college’s pennant felt like a good way to get a message across. I decided to make it a bit more interesting by finding a nice way to set it up. I decided to place it in some plants. Hiking is very popular at Cal Poly SLO, so the plants represent my excitement for that activity as well as provide a nice green background to match the colors. I will be studying Art & Design with an emphasis in Graphic Design, and am very excited to learn even more new skills and meet tons of new people!
