The prompt for this photo was “viewpoint”. I looked through the inspiration images, and really liked the ones taken at extreme angles of somewhat unconventional subject matter. I decided that I wanted to take that type of photo myself, so I went around looking for tings to photograph that could provide a cool effect. I decided on window blinds, since I’ve always found it a bit cool how they rest on each other at different angles. It sort of reminds me of scales on an animal. I took photos of the window blinds at different camera angles, with the intention of finding one that made it a bit hard at first to tell that they were window blinds. I really liked this photograph because of the very dramatic converging of the rows in the corner. I think the perspective of the photo is very unique, and probably not the type of angle you would be seeing anything from in your day-to-day life. In Photoshop, I made some minor adjustments to the colors.
