For this photoblog challenge, I chose to take a picture of a flower(it’s actually a plant) pot that I found on one of the neighbor’s balcony. What really drew this to me was that there was a lot of greenery in this one area. The pot being green, the plant itself, other plants in the background, and the tree that works kind of like a border for this image. Though you might be asking how this shows mood, I think it does. For me, every time I look at nature I get this feeling of gentleness, warmth, and just positive vibes. I wanted to show this through the photo I took because not only does the green give me a feeling of calmness but the natural lighting helps create the mood I was feeling. It really gives me morning vibes which are really refreshing and I feel many can relate the mood of waking up to such a nice sunrise. I also used the rule of thirds that I was experimenting with last week in order to give that focus point to the green pot. Even though the tree on the bottom right may be quite distracting, I believe it helps the eye moves towards the green pot.
