These are a few visual projects I was able to work on with great tools thanks to Freestyle Academy!
One Page Flyer
In our Digital Media, we were encouraged to create a One Page Flyer using the new application we learned: Adobe InDesign. However, we were challenged to create this flyer for a group, club, team, or event in our community or school. For this project, I decided to focus my flyer on an American Indian activist, Leonard Peltier. This leader has been unfairly imprisoned for more than 40 years and I wanted to bring awareness to this since it has yet to get justice. Thanks to an amazing U.S History teacher, Mr. Donelly, at Los Altos High School I was able to get well educated on this issue. As well as the great tools and skills I gained here at Freestyle Academy to make this flyer possible. I’m glad I was able to create a flyer for a great reason; to be a voice for change.
