Introduction
Hi! My name is Kyhara Crespin, and I’m a senior Design student at Freestyle Academy.
Here in Freestyle, I took classes in Digital Media, English, and my elective: Design. Throughout my time here, I was able to create so many projects in each class and collaborative with other people who are as passionate to create something great. I’m very thankful for the opportunity here in Freestyle Academy for all the knowledge I gained through different professional applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, and more.

Showcase Video – Logo Design
Below, I have my showcase video where I describe the project I felt I grew the most and I enjoyed creating. The project is the product logo design we made in design. We were tasked to design a logo for a product of our choice (mine is sunscreen) and a label design. In this video I included the whole process of this project and a short reflection. This video is my reel, it’s a shorter and faster video where I put together all the work that I feel the most proud of creating here in Freestyle. I have placed the projects I created in Design (my elective class), but I have also included some projects I produced in Digital Media. I hope you enjoy!
Reflection
Looking back at my work, I ‘m more grateful for all the resources and opportunities I received from all the teachers in Freestyle Academy to help me expand my creativity through differnt forms of art. As a first year Design senior (I was an Animation student in my junior year), coming into a new class was a bit frightening, but I learned a lot during this last year of mine. It has been amazing to see how much I have created throughout this year and the whole process of it. This past two years in Freestyle has been great, specially with the wonderful friends I created in this knit tight community. I can’t wait what awaits for me as I continue my journey in UC Davis!
