This week’s prompt was to take a photo using creative staging as well as depth of field. I believe that this photo matches both of these aspects. The stuffed animal is creatively framed within the books and paper, which are out of focus in the distance. It is surrounded by various objects, but the blurred background help to isolate it as the main subject. Both elements add to the image to tell a more compelling story. When editing in Photoshop, I used a Multiply layer to make the shadows more dramatic.
