For this photo challenge, I found natural “frames” within nature that helped to accentuate a photograph. In this photo of some trees, the darks background makes the brighter foreground stand out. Additionally, the sun’s rays coming from being a taller tree give the photo a spotlight effect of sorts that draws the eye to the smaller tree at the front. Although this isn’t the most traditional methods of framing, I believe that it still helps to accomplish the ultimate goal of a frame: to highlight.
