This week’s photo challenge prompt was very broad: “food.” I chose to focus on a certain type of food that is very significant to me: sourdough bread. During the pandemic, my mom took up baking sourdough as a hobby and she continues to do so today. During my junior year, I did my documentary project about her and her bread. This photo is a close-up of one of her loaves of bread.
