Leading lines are a compositional technique that uses either natural or man-made lines to draw the viewer’s eye to a certain point.
In this photo, I used the San Francisco buildings, street, and power lines to draw the focus to the most colorful point in the photo. I really liked the reflection that the post-rain street gave to the brake lights of the cars, so in Lightroom I created a radial mask that further drew attention to it by increasing the exposure and vibrance in this area, and decreasing them in the inverse of the mask.
