Milo Rathbun – Inspiration
In this photo, I took the task very literally and thought of ways I could make the camera lie. I came up with an idea in which I would be showing one thing but have a deeper meaning. To do this I got my subject and made them face away from me while I took a picture. I positioned him in front of a mirror so that the viewer is given a whole new level of depth in the photo. I used the mask to show that while we may see one thing from behind, something else is actually happening.
