Photo blog #41: Color Theory

milo rathbun – Composition

In this photoblog I was tasked with creating a still that looks like it’s from a movie scene. On top of this, I learned about color theory which helps tie cinematic shots together and create an aesthetic. When I think of a movie scene I think of crisp colorful shots that are well composed. In order to add flavor to my photo I centered my subject behind a glass light and made sure it was blurred out to focus on whats behind it. Additionally, I added a small gradient at the bottom to fit the “movie” vibe better.
