Mock Advertisement Moodboard

Previous to the Final Docummentary Advretisenment, we were tasked to create our first moodboard.

To be honest I had originally envisioned a more vibrant and retro theme, however, as I was still learning, I opted to use a black background for my Mock Ad. This was because I had not been able to fully remove the background content of the image for my uses. I went along with this compromise and opted for a more cool and sleek vibe to showcase orange juice.

This made it seem as if my orange juice were actually an orange energy drink. So further adjust my Ad’s image, I drew oranges on Illustrator. This provided a more toned down version of energy drink which with a yellow and orange pattern settled to be more on point.

Creating a Mock Ad provided me with great insight into what graphic designers’ thought process and made me excited to learn more. It also proved to be great preparation for the Ad included my Documentary.
