A jewelry maker in Venice When I was in Venice I saw incredible art through its architecture, and museums but also through its people. Glassblowing is the most famous art making derived from Venice and that glass is used to make jewelry. One of the artists who's store we visited showed us her process and it was incredible to see that this was her job; she enjoyed her work and being an artist.
Color Theory
Sunset outside my window This week we were challenged to use color grading to enhance our photos to make them look as though they are a still from a movie. I have used the reduction of highlights/shadows and saturation to my advantage to make this sunset I saw much more vibrant and colorful. Modern Convenience
Ice cream and my kindle! This week we were challenged to tell the story of a modern convenience can you not live without and I would have to say mine is my kindle. I have loved reading my whole life and to have a library at my disposal everywhere I go has been so convenient and wonderful for me. I really love my kindle.
