Color without Color
I look this in Lake Louise, Banff, Canada one of my favorite places in the world. The lake is famous for its bright turquoise color so it fit the prompt of making a colorful photo black and white.

Who Inspires You
This week were assigned to showcase a photo of someone who inspires us and I chose my cousin Pranavie (left) because she is a one of my biggest role models. She is beyond kind, and compassionate, unapologetically herself and beautiful inside and out.
Fill the Frame
We were assigned to fill our frames to make our subject matter more intriguing and I chose to fill my frame with pictures of newly colored leaves of trees in my neighborhood.
Friends and Family
This week we were assigned to tell a story about someone. I chose one of my best friends Janya who is dancing in the waves in Halfmoon Bay, carefree as ever, exuding the joy she is almost constantly possessing.
Your Habits
This week we were told to be inspired by the word habit, and I thought this photo I took was a fairly good symbol of that. Putting my feet on the dashboard is one of my bad habits and so is drawing on myself, if you notice the little "hi" on my ankle.
Symmetry
This week we were challenged to use Photoshop to symmetrically transform a portrait. This is one I took of my friend's baby Rohan a few years ago and here is the final product.
Culture
My cousins fishing for the rings, a tradition in Hindu weddings. This is a photo I took at my cousins wedding last June. I photograph many of my cousins weddings and this was one of my favorite photos that I got out of it. It showcases cultural outfits and shows the utter joy between the two doing a religious gesture that symbolizes teamwork and collaboration, important in a marriage.
Exit
An exit on the Highway in Almaden Valley. This week we were challenged to take a photo inspired by the word "exit" and I decided to choose a photo from a drive with my dad when we were about to exit on Highway 85, that I took when the sky was gorgeous and I was in a good mood.
Geometry
A picture of my cousins parasailing in the Dominican Republic. This week we were challenged to use geometry in a photo and I chose a photo I took of my cousins when we were on a trip because of the shapes the parasail made.
Freedom
A photo I took at the lights on festival last September. This week we were challenged to photograph something that exemplifies freedom to us. I chose a photograph from a festival I went to last September and listening to the music and dancing in the crowd I really felt free.
