I used this photo to show leading lines because of the way that the path brings your eyes back through the image. I also thought it was cool how the color of the trees changes from brown to white as you go further back.

I chose to use this for my photo because this bench is a memorial for a dog in my neighborhood. After he died, his owners made this bench and hung up chimes around it. Every once in a while, people switch out the chimes or hang up new ones. This bench shows the love between animals and humans.

I chose to represent weight with a rock and some plants. I tried to show balance by using the difference in weight between the plants and the rock. The rock is bigger and literally has more weight, but the plants draw your eyes with the color.

I chose to use this image because although some aspects are not completely symmetrical, overall, the two sides of the building create symmetry between the left and right side of the photo. The placement of the windows and the lines are the same on both sides and the corner of the building splits the image in half.

To me, warm colors mean fall and Halloween. Orange is a very warm color and is also one of the main colors used during Halloween. So, I decided to use some of the Halloween decorations I have outside. I included a ghost(guy in bottom right) and some pumpkins. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday so every year I would decorate as soon as October first(I wasn’t allowed to start before then). Then, I would leave the decorations up for as long as possible. I actually still have some from last year that I just haven’t put away.

Right now, my mood is tired and lazy. I just finished a week of school with lots of back-to-back tests. It is also relatively late and I still have quite a bit of work left to do. For this photo, I decided to use warm lighting to give it a more cozy mood or give the impression of it being dawn. I also took the photo with me at bit of angle like this in order to make me look more relaxed.

My image is an origami butterfly resting on a stack of books. I used the rule of thirds by putting the butterfly in the upper right corner. I wanted to give the impression that the butterfly is in motion flying up through the image.

I chose to use this for my self portrait because art is a big part of who I am and I spend most of my time painting or drawing. Because of this, I feel this photo is a good representation of me as a person. I chose to use this angle because it did not show my face and focused more on where I am and what I am doing.
