“Camera Never Lies”

F5 ISO: 100 1/4 Lens: 18-55mm

The photo depicts a small bouquet of carnations with ambiguous flowers farther in the background. What the viewer probably doesn’t realize is that those ambiguous flowers are the remains of tulips that used to be alive and well alongside the carnations. This was my attempt at getting the camera to “lie.” The viewer is deceived into believing that all of the flowers are blooming, just with the carnations being the main focus even though that’s not the full truth.
