Film Noir

F4 ISO: 6,400 1/195 Lens: 18/55mm

For the film noir prompt, I decided to photograph these blinds in my house at night. I turned on cool colored lights that were behind me while keeping all other lights off in order to get the casted shadows in the background and turned the ISO up in order to get the photo darker than I would have liked if I were trying to get a clear image of the blinds. This made the photo a lot darker than normal, which made it seem more like a film noir-like photograph. Normally I don’t really like this style of photography, but it was fun for me to experiment with it nonetheless.
