In light of Christmas, I took this photo of a little Santa figure in front of other small holiday decorations. My mom always sets up a small village of mini Christmas-themed houses, trees, and other colorful decor on our mantle or a shelf. I decided to photograph this, and capture some of the balance she incorporates. The Santa figurine adds a pop of color and contrast, while also balancing some of the overwhelming green color of the trees and house.
