Negative Space

F4.375 ISO: 400 1/4 Lens: 18-55mm

While my parents were out of town for the weekend, I thought it would be funny to hid 100 tiny flamingos around the house. I put them everywhere. So for the negative space prompt, I decided to capture the flamingo’s small size, and photograph one of them with a lot of emptiness in the background. I like how the wood grain is subtle, but still gives the viewer a reference for just how small the flamingo is, along with the excess space. I also like the contrast between the flamingo and green cabinet, which makes the tiny flamingo stand out even more.
