Center Frame Portrait – Loneliness
For my center frame portrait, I took a picture of my dad on a lone bench staring into the horizon. I decided to make it grayscale to emphasize the negative feelings that usually accompany loneliness.
Balance
We were tasked with taking a picture portraying balance in an accidental renaissance style. Here are two of my furbies chatting casually. Balance is shown by their placement on the lines of the rule of thirds grid; their colors contrast with the muted background.
Leading Lines
We were supposed to portray the concept of infinity through leading lines. I used the lines of the floor tiles in a park and the reflections of the water to frame and endless world of water fountains and sky.
Symmetry Landscape
We were supposed to take a symmetric picture of a landscape without any editing. I was looking around for symmetry while walking my dogs, and I liked the superposition of warmth and cold of the grey house and the auburn red trees.
