Eyes

The prompt for this photo blog was, “Peer into a soul with an eye (share a macro lens with a design student).” In Freestyle Academy, students can choose between three elective classes; Design, Film, and Animation. because students in the Design elective are required to do a lot more photography than their peers, they have a special macro lens to go with their cameras that other electives don’t. This lens allows for close up photos with more detail. This project help build up the community between FA students by encouraging kids to talk to each other. For example, I needed to reach out to my friends Nadine and Kaylee (who’s beautiful eyes you can see below) to collaborate. Kaylee is a design student, and we used her macro lens to take pictures of each other’s eyes.
