Golden Hour

The prompt for this week was to explore Golden Hour Photography, which is characterized by warm soft light, and is usually done an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset. During the evening, I went into my backyard to experiment with the yellow light cast by the setting sun. I brought some transparent and glass objects with me, and took some pretty good shots of them. However, looking through my photos later, I realized that this picture of a succulent displayed the warm light best. I also appreciated how asymmetry is apparent in this photo especially because the plant is illuminated on one half and shadowed on the other.
