This week we were encouraged to take a picture inspired by “work.” I work at Carl’s Jr, where there are many bright and beautiful colors. Since I work the morning shift (you can tell it’s still dark outside), it’s not very busy, so I had plenty of time to take a ton of experimental photos this morning.
- The Sauces
- As much ice as you could ever need.
- I was so surprised when I found out that every time someone dispenses soda it comes out of a box in the back room, goes through a tube in the wall, passes by this carbonation can, and then has water added to it on the way over. It’s so insane!
- I love how this “know your rights” thing is so long and hard to read that no one knows.
- This is the moment I realized that anything can look beautiful with the right camera and lighting, as long as you are close enough.
- Get those toppings.
- Crispy fry containers.
- Meta, I know.
- Even more sauce with contrasting colors
- This picture is my favorite thing! It reminds me of an edgy album cover. To give it this effect, I turned on the flash and moved the camera ever so slightly while taking the photo.
Overall I learned that if you allow yourself to, it can be fun to take pictures of anything, even everyday things.
