Symmetry landscape

On the top of the image, there is a pine tree branch in front of a blurry house with some trees in the background. The bottom of the image shows the reflection of the branch in a mirror

The prompt for this photo was “symmetry landscape” We had to capture a perfectly symmetrical landscape without didigitally altering the image. I struggled a lot with this photograph, firstly since I didn’t have any scenic landscapes anywhere around my house. I eventually decided on the side of my backyard, where there was a tree branch and my neighbor’s house. Since it wasn’t symmetrical, I decided to use a mirror to create a symmetrical effect. It was really hard to do since I only had one hand to hold my camera and one hand to hold the mirror (my tripod wasn’t tall enough). Eventually, I got close enough to perfectly symmetrical. If I ever have the oppurtunity to bring my camera somewhere that has a nice landscape and perhaps a large body of water, I would like to try retaking this photo.
