I really like how this photo came out, and how I was able to capture all the vibrant colors in this statue. When I think of “Hometown” I think of where I came from, physically and mentally. Middle School greatly impacted my life, with my study habits, my friends, and how I view the world.
I wanted to take a photo at my middle school to represent all of that, but I also like how you can interpret this as “childhood” or how/where I grew up. I am really happy how this photo came out, and I think the sunset making the metal statue appear brighter than the trees behind it is a very nice touch.
