Photo Blog #32: Fill The Frame

Milo Rathbun – composition

In this photo, I was tasked with filling the frame with a subject of a single color. Mine was grey. In order to do this I chose a location with nothing directly in the background So I could really have a depth-of-field effect. Doing this made causes the viewer to focus in on the shoes and pants (both of which are grey). Additionally, the greenish tints on the lights in the hall make a nice contrast between the color of my subject and that of the background.
