Hello, my name is Ash Dillon and I am currently preparing to pursue a career path in the digital arts. I have started the first of my two years at Freestyle Academy, and am looking forward to creating something amazing here. My passion for art is what first drew me to the school, as well as the unique opportunities it provides. I value truth, imagination, and loyalty. These values heavily influence my daily decisions, as well as my strengths and weaknesses. For example, one of my strengths is my vivid imagination which inspires much of my art. As for a weakness, I can struggle to connect with someone when I feel they are not being genuine with me.

Outside of school, I enjoy exercising through soccer and martial arts practices. I create art using both physical and digital methods, including watercolor, markers, colored pencils, and apps like Procreate or Flipaclip. I occasionally travel with my family, and spend time with my few close friends when possible. I listen to music often, though I don’t have a favorite artist. Finally, every once in a while I take an afternoon nap with my cat, Tiki. If you get to know me, you will end up hearing a LOT about her.

This year, I am hoping to expand my technological skill set by learning to use Adobe software. I have already made progress, and can envision future projects (such as an animated short film) going well. I expect to enjoy working on large projects, and be proud of the results when I finish. I hope to meet some like-minded people through freestyle, and make the most of the experience.
