Love Story

As soon as I saw this week’s photoblog prompt I thought of the photo essay I created in summer 2019 from Coney Island for my photojournalism class. My theme for the essay was “twos”, and I photographed couples, children, and other pairs that I found in the amusement park. I love this picture because I captured these two boys (in adorable matching outfits) just as the boy in light blue had taken the drink out of his brother’s hands so he could take a sip. This photo also uses the rule of thirds, as the subjects are in the lower-left region of the photo which draws the viewer’s eye to them. This photo is the perfect representation of sibling love!
