Who am I?
The reflections unit, the first unit of senior year, challenged me to examine my personal values and apply them to pieces in English, Digital Media, and Film. This unit gave me the opportunity to self-reflect in a deeper way than I had before and I am very grateful for that.
The creative freedom we were given in this unit allowed me to explore all aspects of myself, experiment with new storytelling techniques, and learn new digital programs. Each project helped me identify aspects of myself and how I work creatively.
I found myself focusing my projects on my love for art, specifically film and photography. But I realized the part of the filmmaking and photography process that I identify with the most is capturing real stories. That is one of my core values and I was able to show that through my reflections projects.
