I chose to photograph a pair of colorful gecko decorations located in my mom’s garden. I can see myself in these decorations in a way in which they bring color and life to otherwise dull surroundings. I do my best to be positive with those around me and lift people up, just like these geckos do to the garden. The two geckos balancing also demonstrate how I balance multiple activities/hobbies along with difficult coursework throughout my everyday life. The childlike nature of it also reflects my love to revisit nostalgic movies or objects from my childhood.
