For our Narrative Perspectives unit, we were challenged with the question,
“How well can you apply advanced narrative techniques to build a compelling story?”
The Worldbuilding project this year was the first ever at Freestyle! We developed more advanced storytelling techniques and ideas that was applied in both our Digital Media and English classes and eventually culminated into a Pitch Presentation at the end. In English, we studied examples of well-rounded stories such as Parable of the Sower to develop our own stories/universes that connected to a real-world issue. In Digital Media, we created 3D Art pieces that expressed our worlds visually and intricately. In Animation, we created a short 3D narrative animation.
