Exit

Door slightly open leading into a bedroom
Aperture:4, ISO:100 Shutter speed:1/8

The prompt this week was exit so to show this, I took a picture of a door. This was my brother’s room but he moved out to go to college so I thought this was fitting for the prompt “Every exit is an entry to somewhere else.”

Geometry

broken fence with small tree in front
Aperture:5, ISO:100, Shutter speed:1/100

I chose this photo for the prompt geometry because of the way that the objects overlap. This is a broken fence that I found and the broken pieces created triangles in front of the rectangular slots in the fence.

sky, trees, and rooftops.
ISO:100, Aperture:8, Shutter speed:1/100

For this prompt, I decided to lie about the time. I took the bottom photo and then edited it to look like night time. I did this by first adjusting brightness, then using the paintbrush tool and applying an overlay layer to darken the sky.

For this prompt, I used the celery, carrots, and spoon to lead to a point. I wanted to angle of the lines created by these objects to be pointing in the same direction and eventually intersect.

Serenity

My happy place is this corner of my room where I do all my art. Crocheting and drawing are how I relax and get my mind off of things so this is what I chose to show for the prompt, serenity.

To show the rule of odds, I found a smiley face that I drew in chalk and drew two more to make three of them.

Aging

I first started crocheting in elementary school and the first thing I made was a stuffed mouse. I wanted to compare this with one of the more recent things I made to show how I improved as I grew up.
