Serenity

This week we were challenged to take a picture of something that shows what serenity means to me. In this photo I was under lots of stress to be able to stack the rocks before another car came down the road. I found serenity in finishing the stack and knowing that it was done.

Aging

This week we were challenged to take a picture that told a story about aging. These shoes are one of the pairs my sister wore while on her mission in the Dominican Republic, as an ambassador of Jesus Christ. She walked everywhere she went, and over the year she was there, her shoes aged quite […]

Speed Light

This week we were challenged to take a photo of something with a speed light. This was done as part of my design homework, so I asked my two friends to be models after school and it was super fun.

Balance of Accidental Renaissance

This week we were challenged to take a photo of something that was balanced, but also was an “Accidental Renaissance” picture. My picture is more purposeful than accidental, but I think it gets the job done of keeping the picture balanced while also resembling “somewhat” of a renaissance painting.

Anonymous

This week we were challenged to take a photo of something to do with the word “Anonymous”. To me, nothing fits this description more than my broken trackpad. I left my computer open after a long night of doing homework like tonight has been, and went upstairs to go to bed. The next morning as […]

Hometown

This week we were challenged to take a photo of something that represents my hometown, and since I don’t really spend much time in downtown or other iconic spots, my dad suggested that I just take a picture of the road that I end up driving on the most. This is what my hometown is […]

Black and White

This week we were challenged to take a black and white picture of something with significance to us. I have been playing the piano since I was 5 years old, and this is the piano I learned it all on. It has a lot of significance to me because of the amount of time and […]

New Beginnings

This week we were challenged to take a photo of something with a beginning and an end. This photo was taken in my backyard where we have recently torn up our little garden and fertilized it so that new plants can grow there. Old things ending, and new things beginning.

Story of Shadow

This week we were challenged to take a photo of something that would tell a story with shadow. The story behind this is that it took me forever to get these rock to balance the way I wanted to. This was and still is my most ambitious stack to date because I wanted to balance […]

Center Frame

This week we were challenged to take a photo of something using center framing with the theme of loneliness. I took this photo because as I watched these dogs play, it seemed like the white one with the spots was always left out of things compared to his other brothers, even though they were all […]
