Who Inspires Me

This week I was challenged to take a photo of someone that inspires me. I chose my dad, as he has been working from home, and I have been able to see and appreciate how hard he works. What’s most inspiring is how much he loves what he does. His passion for his work is […]

Fill the Frame

This week I was challenged to use the composition skill of filling the frame for my photo. It had just rained earlier today, and the lemons still had some precipitation on them. I jumped on this opportunity and took a picture of one.

Family

This week I was challenged to tell the story of someone I know well, my mom. With the start of this school year online, she took three kids under her care because their mom was working all day and couldn’t help them. These three siblings have been a very difficult and high energy group, but […]

Habits

This week we were challenged to take a picture that showed one of our habits, either good or bad. I chose to take a picture of using a digital device late a night. This is something that sometimes end up doing instead of sleeping or if I’m just bored.

Symmetry

This week we were challenged to do a symmetric profile, and then reflect each side. I took a picture of my brother and it was very interesting to see the different definitions of one side of his face compared to the other.

This week we were challenged to take a picture that was inspired by “Exit”. In taking this picture I thought of the how our perspective of what an exit might look like if we were super small. In exiting, we may have succeeded in finishing something, but there is always another journey. An exit really […]

Geometry

This week we were challenged to use geometry in our photo for this week. In this simple picture of a tennis ball, I included various shapes in the background and on the subject. There are less traditional shapes, but there are also regular shapes to be found in the picture.

Freedom

This week we were challenged to take a picture that told what freedom meant to us. For me, freedom is the ability go and do the things that I want. With Coronavirus keeping me inside most of the time, I have missed this freedom to go and play at the beach with friends and family.

Tell a Lie

This week we were challenged to do tell a lie with a picture. This week I set up a toy car and jump to make it look like by brother was jumping over a car. In this sense I’m lying to the viewer by utilizing the angles I have.
