This photo is from my photo essay from Coney Island. I love how it captures the youth of these girls in their matching outfits and hair pieces as they pick out their candy. The big decision they have to make represents taking steps into adulthood, no matter how small they are.

I took this while hiking the Navajo trail in Bryce Canyon which starts at the top of the canyon and loops through the hoodoos in the canyon. The light coming through some of the few trees in the areas created some very interesting shadows.
