For this week’s photo blog, we were instructed to use color theory in order to enhance our photos and make them look as if they were stills from a movie. I chose to take on an Analogous Color Harmony approach using my yellow toned bathroom. I had to strategically plan when to conduct this photoshoot, as the nice, soft yellow hue only appears at a certain time of day when the sun’s rays point directly into my bathroom in a specific way. I really like how the photo and its colors came out, as I think the yellow, orange, gray, and white all go together nicely. I could imagine this being an opening still in a 1950s color vibrant film such as Don’t Worry Darling.
