For this week, we were prompted to take a photo surrounding friends & family. Of course, I have my family by blood, but I also consider the many friends that I’ve made over the years family too, in a different way. To me, when you spend so much time with someone or even a group of people, you start to understand each other inside and out. You have dinner with each other, you have sleepovers, you go on little adventures, you spend hours with these people to the point where they are like an “adapted family.”
One of the times when I feel closest to others, close friends or not, are at sports games. This photo here was taken at our homecoming game, my last, and it was a very special experience knowing I won’t be able to reciprocate that moment ever again. I was able to record the game from on field while also taking lots of photos of the fans and the homecoming king/queen nominees.
