My cat, Waffles, has found his true love. My Mom. There are very few moments when he isn’t next to her. Wherever she goes, you can count on him being there. A simp in his true nature. Whenever she is going to sleep, he is affectionately cuddled next to her. And although I wish he loved me as much as he does, I’m appreciative of it. My Mom and I are always working most of the day and are on each of our respective Zoom calls, so we can’t be next to each other. Waffles fills all the gaps that I cannot do myself and he is definitely not only the cutest cat in the world, but the most affectionate soulmate to my Mom. And to Waffles, if you ever see this, I want you to know I love you too. Feel free to share the love with me sometimes. I’d appreciate it.
