This week, we were instructed to make a compelling story out of a shadow. And for me, what better object to choose than a basketball hoop. Basketball is my favorite sport not only to play, but also of all time. Whenever I get a couple minutes of free time in between classes or at lunch nowadays, I take the opportunity to go into my driveway and get up some shots. It’s like therapy almost. It’s addicting and fun to get better, work on your shot, your moves, and dribbling. I’ve been given a great opportunity to have my own hoop and get better, so I try to be grateful for that and use it as much as possible. The sport of basketball is a great game and I will never stop playing it. It’s opened up quite a few fun opportunities for me and I’m excited to see what’s to come. Just have to keep getting better.
