Facial Symmetry

Kai x3

For our composition post of this month, we took a center-frame portrait of someone’s face and then took it into Adobe Photoshop where we then edited the photo to both the right and left side making the photograph symmetrical.

Out of all of the photo blogs I’ve done, this is definitely one of my favorites. For most of the pictures I take, there is some color editing, but not really any photoshop has to be done. So, for this exercise, not only was it fun to take this photo into photoshop and “replicate” it in a way, but it was also a good experience learning how to do this for future projects.

When taking this photograph, I had my subject stand up straight with good posture which made post-editing much easier when aligning his face.
