In terms of where I come from and my family, there isn’t a lot of cultural traditions, if any, that my family celebrates. It’s mostly traditions that we carry on throughout the years. One of my favorite traditions if the yearly ornaments.
Each year during the holiday season, my Mom gifts me a “yearly ornament.” The ornaments date all the way back to December 2003, when I celebrated my first Christmas.
This year, she gifted me this ornament. Not really sure why and I don’t entirely get the joke, but it’s pretty funny. It was also really nice to look back on each of the ornaments I’ve accumulated over the years and reminisce on the past as this is my last year at home before I go off to college.
