This week, for inspiration, we were prompted to take a photo on one of the elements: Earth, Fire, Wind, Rain, & Spirit. I chose Earth. Compositionally this is an extremely simplistic photo, yet I also find it to be beautiful. You have the sharp green of the grass of a weeks worth of rain. Then there’s the worn out brown leaves that have fallen from the transition into the winter. And the newly fallen yellow leaves, most likely just abandoned by their tree. Within this photo, it tells the story of life and the many cycles it goes through. It tells the story of Earth in it’s most simplistic form.
