The Spot, Safeway
“The Spot”

Los Altos, California. My little hometown located in the technology hub of the world, Silicon Valley, and the place home to the house that Steve Jobs created Apple in. String lights illuminate the sidewalks, many small businesses, and very few namebrand companies surround the minimal amount of streets. Un-ironically, I spend most of my time in Downtown Los Altos at the biggest store in town, Safeway. You may be wondering why I’ve spent hours hanging out and stopping at a grocery store, but honestly, I couldn’t tell you. It simply tends to be the spot I always go to after driving around or hanging out with friends. I’m a huge night person too and in the downtown area of Los Altos, almost every store closes before 7PM except for a few exceptions. And of them all, Safeway is open the latest, which is pretty much why it fits my late night cravings most of the time. And somehow, no matter what I’m doing, I always seem to end up there, intending to, or not. But yeah, it’s definitely a pretty odd hangout spot to say the least, but hey, I love Downtown Los Altos Safeway. It’s filled with many stupid memories and hundreds of dollars I’ve spent on Sour Patch candy because I’m addicted to sugar. So, if you ever end up passing by Los Altos, make sure to go check it out. It’s a sweet little town with amazing people and best of all, my favorite, the infamous Safeway.
