With this photograph, we sought to capture a story through shadows. Shadows are often associated with negative thoughts such as loneliness or danger. When we see these beautiful trees, their shadows almost diminish their serenity and beauty. Up close, these shadows are powerful and menacing. However, from a distance all you can see is the green of the trees. Every tree has a shadow, but you can only see it up close.
