This photograph is dedicated to my younger brother, Javi. He is my biggest inspiration. Though he is lighthearted, kind of quiet, and silly on the inside, he is one of the most powerful forces I’ve seen and can do anything he puts his mind to. He inspires me in a warm and undaunting yet constant kind of way, and I feel inspired not by the need to do better but because I feel welcomed into his aura of doing. I sought to capture this feeling by using the ‘shade’ white balance to create a orange-ish warmer color to the picture. I also purposefully left the clarity somewhat fuzzy to add to this feeling.
