When we think of the elements it is earth, wind, water, and fire. But what influences all of these? The sun. I think the sun is the main element, and is a core part of our planet. However, when trying to take a picture of the sun, I found it was really difficult to create a pleasing photograph. Instead of taking a picture of the sun directly, I went behind a large tree with several wiry branches. I positioned my camera so half of the sun was visible behind one of the branches. By adjusting the camera settings I was able to capture the suns rays emerging from the branch and bringing warmth to the photo. The final result was a composition that feels very warm and peaceful.
