This image was a study of weight. Would the bright bookcase lure your eyes, or would they be stuck in the black shadow at the bottom right? My eyes drift towards the top left stack of books, but hopefully the very starkly different weights balance each other. This was the goal, as I played around with the brightness of the bookcase and the size of the shadow. The angled lines forming the bookcase also increase its weight, as well as the uneven stacking of the books.
