Ekphrastic Poem
In my English class, I was given the opportunity to create an ekphrastic poem based on a piece of art in the MOMA that I selected. I was then able to create a creative photo with the poem in my Digital Media class as well as make a creative recording of my poem, incorporating music and sound effects.
Thanks to this project, I was able to explore the value of three different art forms: poetry, visual, and audio. I valued putting effort into each form, and discovered which ones I enjoyed most, which turned out to be editing the image in photoshop.
