Video Essay
In Film, we were prompted to individually create video essays about an aspect of ourselves or something we enjoyed; a medium to share who we are.
As we have been stuck in quarantine, I decided to make mine on baking and how I’ve come to enjoy it as a hobby. I was inspired by the food-making stop motion videos I saw on social media and create a stop motion video of the process of baking cupcakes. I then added a voiceover to share my story.
I’m glad to have been able to reflect upon myself in video form, as I’ve not only learned how to do stop motion, but also how to express myself in a new format.
