Here I would like to showcase two of my main projects that I feel I have grown the most creating. These projects taught me the most about animation, design, and were the overall highlights for me at Freestyle. The documentary project was a very long process where I had to do research on my topic of interest, write and essay, and then animate my research. The zenith project allowed me to take everything I have learned in the past two years and focus it on a subject that I feel most passionate about.
Documentary
This project taught me a lot about journalism, writing, and research. I was able to grow with in those three categories in a way where I never thought before. This project helped me learn ore about animation and improve techniques I was having trouble with in the past. In the future I might create more animations using techniques like this by drawing on top of videos I take. This technique will make my videos more entertaining and intriguing to watch. I am grateful fro this project even thought it was hard to create in the long run it was very important for my overall growth.
Zenith
This project was really hard to create because it was in the middle of the Corona epidemic, but in the end I was able to create a project I am proud of. In the long run Corona allowed me to find a cool spot to take photos at, but it also prevented me from seeing people to shoot with. I was able to get more comfortable with painting and photography. I also developed a passion for those two subjects. In the future I will continue to explore new spots to take photos at.
